Mandi Alexander - Photographer
For as long as I can remember I have had a camera in my hand. Every holiday or event I have always been the one annoying my friends and family with too many pictures. And I love it! I love the emotion in a photo, once it's captured there's something special about being able to relive that momement over and over again. Remembering loved ones who have left us or just looking back and thinking WOW my hair was aweful! I love hearing things like "Mom why would you let me wear that?!"
My style can be a bit moody, some may describe alot of my work as dark or romantic, but I do like to mix it up and I LOVE black and white photos. I want my photos to bring back a feeling, not just a memory of mom yelling at everyone to hold still and say cheese. I hope my laid back style helps those around me feel relaxed and themselves as those the memories we want to remember, a time when we were just able to be us.
